About Me

I will be starting my 23rd year in education.   In addition to teaching, I have coached various sports:  boys basketball, boys flag football, girls soccer, girls volleyball, girls futsal, and boys soccer (most experience in boys soccer).

I was born in Juarez, Chihuahua in Mexico and emigrated to the United States at the young age of three (My parents brought me here.).  I attended ESL classes until I was outpacing my peers.  I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish.  I received my teaching license in 1993 through the ACP.  I later added and passed other sections to be able to teach Spanish (6-12), Theater Arts, and ESL.

I look forward to teaching students the wonderful language of Spanish.
